Description
The Normark Microlite Rods seek to recreate the classic legendary Microlite that provides exceptional performance with delicate presentations targeting silvers. Featuring Japanese 40T + 46T high modulus Toray® Carbon Blanks, Fuji® Alconite K-Frame Single Leg Tangle-free Guides and a Fuji® DPS Reel Seat. With improvements including a Fuji® NMV Anti-wrap Tip Guide and Aluminium laser engraved Normark® logo Butt Cap. Finished with a premium grade Portuguese cork handle.
The 12ft is exceptionally light and perfect for silvers and shy biting fish. Designed originally for canals and small silvers this rod still has some power to deal with bones species like Chub and Tench.
The newest addition, the 13ft, is still a light and sensitive but has a little bit more power in the butt than the 12ft to tame those bonus fish.

What is the line rating for this rod and typical hook length diameters? Will it handle up to a 3lb chub?

Hi Paul. Thanks for the question. This item is new and on pre order so we don't have much information as yet in regards to line ratings. It will handle bonus fish as well as smaller fish, a great choice for silverfish fishing. Regards Andy
