No recommended casting weight is given for these, or most float rods to be honest. You should be fine with regular wagglers etc, but maybe not the heavier pellet wagglers.''

How do they compare? I have the short one, it has a 57cm handle and weighs 20grams tip + 165grams bottom. How long is the handle on the 11 foot? / weight of the bottom section? (since I believe the tip will be around ~25grams). Is the 11 foot a canal rod?

The handle has an approximate length of 56.5cm and a weight of approximately 200gs. There is no reason why the rod can't be used on a canal but it is designed more for use on a commercial fishery.

I have checked for you and the 10ft rod has an approximate pack down size of 5ft 3 inches, and the 11ft rod has an approximate pack down size of 5ft 10 inches.
