They should be fine for some float fishing, something like the 3000 size would be ideal for most rods.

The answer is probably, as you can see in the previous questions. The issue here is we don't actually stock the 5000 size so I cant confirm this for you.

Its not something we'd recommend but you can usually get away with the next size up or down if needs be. In this case the 300 size fits, but the 400 size doesn't.
