Hi I enjoy waggler fishing , after spending £50 on a new reel I am so frustrated with the spiraling of the line on the spool after I’ve been fishing for a couple of hours , I end up buying new line . How does the twist buster facility work ? Many thanks

Hi Alan, hope this finds you well? This may not be the reel or the line itself. I could be the way the line was loaded. If line is loaded on the reel with spirals in it then it be added to it. The line needs to be loaded straight so it’s always best to rotate the spool of line and wind on a little then slacking off to see how the line’s coming off. 8/10 that’s the issue from my experience, other than that check your ceramics in the eyes as if there is damage that can cause the line to crinkle and go spirally. Also old line, if it’s not rotated then after time the line takes a while to straighten out. Hope this helps. Regards, Tackleuk
