Ultima's intelligent intelligent stretch system gives this a totally different stretch profile to other mono's. With a low stretch at initial power, it's responsiveness and hooking ability approaches that of braid. Apply more pressure, and it begins to stretch more so that it gives the angler the cushion to avoid snap offs from sudden lunges.

Great line, very strong and knots easily. The colour is see thru. Fast delivery.
Power Carp is a truly remarkable line and the line against which all other carp lines must be judged.
Everything I look for in a mainline the Power Carp has fulfilled my needs. Unlike some other fluorocarbon coated lines, Ultimas Power Carp knots and casts extremely well and has limited stretch. The line is extremely durable and it becomes even more friendly after it has been used a few times and has had time to bed in. I have used the Power Carp on a venue where the fish are incredibly line-shy and good line lay and line concealment are of paramount importance. In short the Power Carp has performed superbly and shows no sign of needing to be replaced.
Every now and then a very special product hits the market that ticks all the boxes. Power Carp line for me is the one. Everything that I have ever wanted form a carp line this has. It is fluorocarbon coated which makes it a hybrid like no other. We have all tried casting fluorocarbon and we know its downsides but Ultima have eliminated the headaches and achieved an out and out casting line that sinks, is invisible and has next to no stretch. All in all Power Carp is the finest line I have ever used.
