Description
The Breakaway Flattie lead has a flattened profile which offers a couple of advantages over using a standard 'plain' lead. These are that the flat shape helps to prevent the Flattie Lead from sinking as far into the bottom when fishing over soft mud. Also if you are fishing for flatties in a lateral tide the flattie lead will move around in the tide in a more controlled manner than a round bomb.
The flattie lead features Breakaways built in 'Impact Lead' bait clip which gives a 100% guaranteed release upon impact with the water.
