Description
Shimano STC AX Spinning Rods, a series of versatile moderate-fast action rods ideal for targeting predators in both fresh and saltwater. Available in 8ft and 9ft versions, breaking down into four or five sections sections respectively. Giving a maximum transport length of a mere 70cm on the 7ft 10in, and 65cm on the 8ft 10in when stored in the premium STC XR protective storage hardcase. Featuring High Modulus Full Carbon blanks with Nanosheet layering technology and fitted with premium Fuji stainless steel K-Type Alconite guides, a split grip EVA handle and Fuji DPS reel seat.

What items in the box in the picture are included within the purchase price displayed. And does the rod with the sections and the reel fit into the carrier that has the reel shape on it so I don't have to carry the whole box while climbing onto the rocks.

Hi Andrew,
You get the rod and the hardcase rod sleeve only. Your reel can stay attached and be packed in to this case but the reel is not included. The images with the suitcase are for illustration purposes only to show that it is compact enough to take on holiday.

I'm afraid not. Your best option would be to visit your local tackle shop and ask them to order it as a spare.

Does this rod come with the travel case and reel or just the rod ?

This rod comes supplied in the travel case, but not with a reel I'm afraid.
