what reel would be a good pairing for this rod. £40-60 range

Hi Antony, thanks for the question. Only one option for this, Penn Wrath or, if you can go a smidge over, Penn Pursuit V. Both perfect for that rod. Also, you have the option of the UK Service centre with Penn reels in Plymouth (Quintin Servicing) for tune ups etc. I have linked the reels HERE for you look at. Hope it helps. Regards, Tackleuk.
