Not sure as Wychwood don't exactly explain, but at a guess the BR-S probably stands for Braid Ready Series.

Hi would the 5000 adgitator reel be sutible to pair with the 10ft dead bait rod or would a bigger reel be needed , thanks

The 5000 size should be about right for the 10ft rod. You could go bigger but the rod itself isn't designed for distance.
