Hello I'm after a rod capable of casting a medium to large slider which these can but are they too over gunned for silvers on a 4 gram waggler.

Hi Alex, hope this finds you well? These will be fine fir that. They have the power mid to butt for casting larger wagglers/sliders but still retain some softness in the tip to avoid hook pulls. Unfortunately, you can’t go super lite and thin when fishing this method but they will be fine. Any fixed spool front drag reel should be fine. The only guru offering we currently have in stock is the A class series, and there is a 300 size option. I've put a link in below to that specific reel, and our front drag reel section that shows everything we sell.

Hi Mark. This can be used with sliders and weights up to 15g on the 13ft, and 20g on the 14ft.
