Having purchased the earlier version Abyss Match rod,I knew that this would be a good choice,and wasn't disappointed. The blank is very slim and handled a 7-8lb carp with a nice action. I used the stiffer of the two glass tips supplied which cast a 15gm method feeder with no trouble,but would pull it out of position when tightening up.
The fittings are seemingly good quality,and for the price,I think this is an excellent buy for someone,like myself,who just wants a well put together piece of kit that does the job.
