A superb rod blank from greys. I think that a rod with this quality should have a better quality tip eye. It has a very thin bad quality rounded sic edge which you would normally find on a much lower budget rod. This type of tip eye will curl up mono line after only landing a few big fish. Then if you are fishing a slack line you have a very possible danger of a rod tip tangle on a fish take, which could inevitably lead to your prized rods getting dragged into the water.
I personally just changed the tip eyes to top quality Fuji's. Now i have in my opinion two of the best quality rods money can buy.
