Daiwa Black Widow + Carp Rods combine innovative blank design with a progressive action and remarkable fish control. The lightest Black Widow series Daiwa have ever created, they also delivered tremendous casting performances during tests. Hitting maximum distance whilst also giving an enjoyable, forgiving fish playing action. With the use of lightweight skeletal guides to reduce the overall rod weight and increase the tip speed and response. With five different lengths and test curves available, as well as two additional dedicated spod and marker versions.
Suited to smaller venues, shorter casting ranges and where any boat work is required there are two 10ft models in 3.0 and 3.5lb test curves. Offering amazing handling and delightful fish control, these are complimented by a meaty but still light 10’ 4.5lb Spod/Marker.
Three choices are offered in 12ft; 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0lbs. The 12ft 3lb has been designed with small-mid size waters in mind and for those who prefer a slightly softer rod. The 12ft 3.5lb model is the perfect all-rounder in the range and the 12ft 4lb is the ‘casting rod’ for fishing at distance or using solid bags. They too are joined by a 12ft 4.5lb Spod/Marker.
