Century Tip Tornado Super Match 13.6ft owes much to a past legend in sea angling called Dave Docwra. Dave was an international angler with a vast amount of experience and records under his belt. His design input was embedded in Super Match and thousands of anglers have benefited from the unique action. Surprisingly the design is based on a slightly more powerful butt than the sport and a “tippier” tip than the Match! The new Super Match with Gearbox Design in the butt will deliver over mixed and smooth ground. It will appeal to the specialist who banks on winning and delight an angler who wants accuracy and needlepoint sensitivity. This has a classic J curve action when under moderate compression and this levels out when under full compression when the upper tip becomes straight. The sensitivity is magical and it will suit a complex variety of fishing conditions both in distance and submerged terrain from shingle shores, smooth gulleys to moderately shelving rocks.

Important Information
- All our Century rods that are in stock come supplied with the std reel seats and eye patterns that century feel are suitable for these rods. There is optional extras available on most Century rods including different reel seats and sometimes different rod eyes, these are all optional extras at a extra cost to the customer. We can supply these extras which will be fully fitted from Century. These upgrades or different rods are made to order by Century so there will be 3-4 week delay (approx) before the rod is built to your specifications. If you want to place a order for a rod with different specifications or a slightly different rod to the one shown we would be happy to quote you on these so please contact us.

Purchased the Tip Tornado Super Match 09 model about 3 months ago used it twice weekly since.
As you expect from Century build quality is superb the tip sits nice in the tide without flopping over and retains enough sensitivity to show a crab fart any where within 100 yards of your bait.
This rod is more than capable of casting a 5 ounce lead and clipped down bait a long long way and performs superbly weather on semi rough ground or clean sandy beaches also factory fitted reflective tip tape is a well thought about touch all in all an excellent rod and well worth the money.
