Description
Ridgemonkey EscAPE FQ1 Bivvy. The new FQ1 Bivvy is faster, easier and lighter than others in the EscAPE range but still offers a comfortable, quality and all-round weather protection product. Rammed full of features including the unique quick-lock elbow joint and central boss mechanism that allows quick and easy assembly and takedown.
The o150D HydroX outter skin ensures total protection from the elements and the tape-sealed blackout inner lining helps regulate temperature and blocks out light for better sleep. Removable front allows the bivvy to be used in a brolly style with heavy duty zips allowing easy removal. The skull cap can be left on for easy pack down and add and second layer to optimise temperature regulation, increasing warmth in colder months but staying cool in warmer months. This also helps to reduce internal condensation and provides a peak and rain gutter diverting waters away from the door.
Quick release storm poles are easily push fitted to the peak to provide more stability and maximises the height of the door. Supplied is a heavy-duty PVC groundsheet provides insulation also and has a fold back section to for storing muddy footwear. Reinforced pegging points with colour coding with the built-in compass, allows you to orientate the bivvy during set up. The carry bag has dedicated pole sleeves and adjustable straps for tightening the bag up nice and securely.
