I tried sensate using grass as per the vidio, there were plenty of fih in the area and it attraked and nothing happened. Their were plenty of fish in the margin. I put sensate on grass I added a bit of water, was that the wrong thing to do.

Not sure what you've seen on a video but this is specifically for applying to baits, to then catch fish.
