Questions and Answers
Hi, will the tube be long enough to take 13ft rods? and are they big enough to take 3 rods with 50mm butt rings? Thanks, Rob
Hi Kevin, thanks for the question. Unfortunately, not, the tubes are approximately 9cm in diameter and 190cm long. Hope this helps. Regards, Tackleuk
Do you have tubes longer then 1900mm? I have 10 rods 13" to post
Hi Andrei, thanks for the question. Unfortunately, this is the longest tube that we can supply. Hope this helps. Regards, Tackleuk
hi there. i am wanting to send 2x coarse ledger rods together in the post. should i purchase medium or large? many thanks
Hi Damien, thanks for the question. I would play it safe and go large as these are slightly longer and can be easily cut down with a saw. This should cater for two and three piece rods. Hope this helps. Regards, Tackleuk
Hi. I have one 13 ft. 3 piece rod to send by post. Which type of packaging is best for this please?
Hi Chris, thanks for the question. If it’s a spinning/course/fly rod’s then the medium should be ample. If you are looking to send carp/sea rods with 30mm+ butt eyes then definitely go for the large. These can be cut to suit with a handsaw. Hope this helps. Regards, Andy
Hey guys, I am looking to send 3 bottom sections (not the top sections too) of my 12ft rods with 50mm ringing to a rod builder to have some work done on new handles etc. Will i be able to fit all 3 sections in 1 tube?
Hi Steve thanks for the question. That shouldn't be a problem if you top and tail them. Hope this helps. Regards, Andy
Will 3x 12ft rods with 50mm butt rings fit inside one tube? Thanks
Hi Grant. I recommend using two tubes, as the most you can fit is two rods in one tube when they have 50mm butt guides. Regards, Tackleuk
