On my Ruben heaton digital thermometer when the sensor is in the water on the screen should it say in/out ? Silly question I know.thanks

Hi Nigel,
According to the slip of paper inside the box the In/Out function - Selects indoor (Internal) or outdoor (external probe) sensor settings. So I take this as meaning the unit will give an air temp reading based on an internal sensor, or can be switched to using the external sensor probe for water temp. readings.
