Any fixed spool front drag reel should be fine. The only guru offering we currently have in stock is the A class series, and there is a 300 size option. I've put a link in below to that specific reel, and our front drag reel section that shows everything we sell.

Does it have a hook keeper

Its not a rod we carry in stock but looking at the images I cant see a hook keeper above the handle.

Hi Mark. This can be used with sliders and weights up to 15g on the 13ft, and 20g on the 14ft.
