Does the stradic 4000 reel have a antireverse lever ? Or do you play the fish on the clutch only .

Hi William.
These reels don't have an anti-reverse lever, so the fish would have to be played on the clutch only. This is quite common now in a lot of higher end reels.

What size reel would you pair with the 7-35g rod and what weight braid?

Hi Raffy,
I'd probably go for the 2500 size as it should give a nice balance. Braid wise, it depends on what your targeting. I tend to go pretty heavy 20-30lb as if your lure gets caught up you stand a chance of being able to pull and bend the hooks out.

I'm afraid we only currently have the Shimano Stradic FM Reels, available in pre order for the following sizes 2500, 3000 and 4000. They are currently due to arrive with us in March 2024.
