on the side of the trays what is the distance between the 2 lugs that clip onto the side of the box ,on my box its 22cm between the centre of the 2 v slots where the tray slides on ?

The distance between the 2 clips is also 22cm, so this should hopefully fit your box too.

I'm pretty sure they were interchangeable in the past. However we're currently out of the Team Daiwa seatboxes as they're about to be replaced by the D-VEC ones we currently have on pre-order. Hence I cant give you a rock solid answer by giving it a go.

Hi David,
If you've got the box with a pair of clips at the front then these should fit. I know Shakespeare used to do a smaller box called the Beta that only had the one clip at the front.

The larger sized Big Beach Box, definitely. I wasn't sure about the smaller Beach Box, so I've just given it a go and they fit just fine.
