DHL Delivery Information (£4.99 Postage Orders)
At Tackleuk we deliver our DHL parcels on Monday to Fridays only, excluding Bank Holidays. All UK Mainland DHL orders (with a £4.99 delivery charge) and free postage orders (over £20) are sent for the next working day but sometimes can take longer, orders must be submitted before 8am to apply and this is not a guaranteed service - you are not paying for a next day service, the delivery charge is for standard delivery which we aim to get to you as soon as possible. Orders after 8.30am will usually be processed the following working day but can take up to 3 working days during busy periods. All UKMAIL packages are fully traceable by yourself to give you piece of mind. All tracking information is sent to you by email and tracking usually comes live around 8.00pm on the day of dispatch.
If you provide your mobile number when placing your order DHL should send you a text message with an estimated time of delivery. This information is not always accurate so we recommend checking the tracking through the link we provided when the order was dispatched, this is the only way to ensure a delivery time/date.
We cannot be held responsible for any delays by the courier and try to make the delivery times as clear as possible for the customer.
Royal Mail Delivery Information (£2.99 Postage Orders)
Royal Mail orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48. At Tackleuk we deliver our Royal Mail parcels on Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays. Tracking is available via the link sent at dispatch. All UK mainland Royal Mail deliveries (with a £2.99 delivery charge) should be delivered within 2-3 working days from the time of dispatch, but in some circumstances can take longer. If you haven't received your parcel please wait 15 working days from the date of dispatch before contacting us, from the 16th working day we can contact Royal Mail and ask them to investigate the matter further. Please note that no delivery times or services are guaranteed.
Unfortunately, our delivery partners pass on the cost of any congestion charge obtained during a delivery. This means that delivery to the following postcodes will be charged at £1 extra than normal to cover this cost: EC1*, EC2*, EC3*, EC4*, N1*, NW1 2*, NW1 3*, NW 1 5*, SE1*, SE11*, SW1*, SW11*, W1*, W2 2*, WC1*, WC2*
If your order would normally benefit from free delivery we only charge you the congestion charge fee which is currently capped at £1 per order. The above postcodes are excluded from any content or promotion which features 'Free Delivery within the UK mainland'.
Click & Collect Orders
If you are placing an order and using our click & collect service then please note that the goods will be delivered to the Tackleuk store in Yeovil, Somerset. The goods are usually delivered the next working day but please wait for an email from us confirming that the order is ready for collection before attempting to collect it.
European Delivery Information
All European orders should be delivered within 2-10 days from the time the order is dispatched but this is not guaranteed as it does vary from country to country. Please see guide times and estimated delivery times in the box below. We offer FREE DELIVERY on orders over £100 to the following countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg & Netherlands.
BFPO Delivery Information
We are able to ship to BFPO addresses that are tax exempt for British Forces serving outside of the EU. Please contact us before placing your order as we will require proof that the BFPO number is tax exempt, we will also provide instructions on how to place your order. Please note that we can only send small parcels with Royal Mail, so no rods or brollies etc. If you place an order without contacting us we may cancel the order or impose further delivery charges.
Worldwide Delivery Policy
Unfortunately, we are unable to send orders to anywhere other than the EU or US, sorry.
Delivery Of Rods
Our courier is unable to automatically process long parcels, such as rods, which means delivery can take 2-3 working days. The live tracking will notify you that the parcel has been delayed and advise you to contact us but this is not necessary.
Delivery Of Rods To Europe
Due to the long length and delicacy of rods and and other long items we use very strong and rigid cardboard tubes to ensure that your purchase arrives undamaged, these cost a lot more than a box and our courier charges us extra for sending a long parcel. In light of this, we charge an extra £4 for delivery of large rods and other long items but some rods still benefit from our standard delivery charge due to their short length, to find out what the delivery charge will be please add the rod to your cart and then click the 'View my basket' button. If you are in doubt please contact us.
Delivery charges depend on the weight and size of the parcel being sent, the delivery charge will be automatically calculated for you at the checkout stage.

United Kingdom Royal Mail deliveries will be sent on the Tracked 48 service and should be delivered within 2-3 working days from the day of dispatch.
CAUTION: We do not deliver on weekends so all orders placed on Friday AFTER 8.30am will usually be processed the following working day (Monday) for Tuesday delivery and all orders placed BEFORE 8.30am on Friday will usually be processed on Friday.
Standard courier deliveries are usually made between 8.30am and 5.30pm. If you are out when the courier arrives, a card will be left with a contact number for you to call to arrange re-delivery or collection from the courier depot.
Once the order has been dispatched you can elect the parcel to be left in a safe location or with a specific neighbour. You can do this by following the 'Track My Parcel' link in our dispatch confirmation email. Please note that this constitutes a contract between yourself and DHL, therefore Tackleuk will not accept any liability for the loss of any parcels while using this service.
Tracking Your Order
You can track the progress of your order by logging onto the Tackleuk website and accessing ‘My Account'. Tracking is not available to European customers which have paid £9.99 for delivery as we are only provided with delivery confirmation.
Channel Islands Orders
The United Kingdom consists of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the waters within 12 nautical miles of their coastlines. It does not include the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man but for VAT purposes the Isle of Man is treated as part of the UK. If you are a customer in the Isle of Man, the VAT rules are the same as if they were in the UK. Customers in Jersey, Guernsey, Herm, Sark & Alderney will not be charged VAT on their Tackleuk orders.
IMPORTANT - Changing Your Delivery Address
When placing an order with Tackleuk you have the option to choose a different delivery address to your billing address. This must be done at the checkout stage. If you want to change the delivery address after you have placed an order we can still change the address for you as long as the goods are still in our warehouse (Please contact us via the contact us link on the Tackleuk website to find the whereabouts of your order). If the goods have left us, unfortunately, you will be charged to change the address. This charge will be the cost of the postage again. This is a charge that we occur from the couriers that has to be passed to the customer unfortunately. If you do not want to pay to have your address changed and cant be at your chosen shipping address to sign for the delivery your only option will be to collect the order from your local depot before the goods get returned to us.
IMPORTANT - Refusal of deliveries, Unwanted Orders & Missed Deliveries
Once an order has been placed, you have made a contract with Tackleuk to accept these goods. Please do not refuse any deliveries once an order has been dispatched by us. If a delivery is refused, missed or unwanted you will be refunded minus the original delivery fee (if the order had free delivery you will be charged £4.99) and the return delivery fee of £15.99 for UK orders. This is not a money-making exercise for us as these are the costs that we get charged from the shipping company. IMPORTANT - What Happens If I Miss A Delivery
If UKMAIL have tried to deliver to you and no one was in to sign for the parcel, they should have left you a card, so you can call them to rearrange delivery, you will need to call them as soon as possible on the number left on the card to arrange another day for delivery (Even if you have not been left a card) before the item gets returned back to us as this will incur an additional handling charge. Should you wish to rearrange delivery again, this will incur a further delivery charge equivalent to that of the original delivery charge. (If the order had free delivery the original postage cost would be £4.99). If you are not happy to pay the redelivery costs you will be refunded minus all delivery costs once the goods have been returned to us. Before you call UKMAIL make sure you have your reference number that can be found on your on line tracking details or the number on the card that has been left by UKMAIL. Once delivery has been attempted it is up to the customer to arrange redelivery or collection, Tackleuk is in no way responsible for any costs incurred after the first delivery attempt has been made. If there are extra charges then we will make you aware of this. For EU parcels we are unable to contact the local courier as we only speak English, so this means that any communication that is required must be handled by the customer. If you are having serious problems then please contact us, we are happy to help through UKMail in the UK.
Sometimes, DHL will attempt to deliver to an immediate neighbour if no one is available to sign for the parcel. If this is not acceptable please contact us before placing your order.
