I’m interested in purchasing the **Penn Spinfisher VII** reel and would like to confirm whether the **European version** includes all the latest updates, particularly the **improved line clip design** (which securely holds heavier lines and leaders to minimize tangles).

As far as were aware they're exactly the same version as being sold elsewhere. The specs on our website match up with those on the EU and American Penn websites. Although neither makes any mention of an improved line clip.

For a rod like that something like a 3000 to 4000 sized fixed spool would be ideal and should give the balance your looking for. We carry quite a few options from Penn in stock at the moment, I've put a link in to all the options we have on the website below.

Would you recommend this combination of rod and reel and can you guys load the reel for me? Plus, if you do load reels, could I get a spare spool loaded as well? Many thanks in advance. Matt

Hi Matt,
If its the spinning rods your looking at (there is a boat edition) then the 3500 should be ideal. We don't however offer spooling of line as a service as most anglers prefer to do it themselves.
