Hi. Is there a way to adjust how freely the spool spins?

Hi Roger,
Sorry for the late reply. Having got one of these off the shelf for a closer look there is no way to adjust the tension on the spool. Just a dial that switches between free-spool and clicking ratchet mode.

Does this reel have a drag system?

Hi Howard,
It does haven't a standard drag. It has two settings one being a free spool and one being a setting where it clicks. Hope this helps.
